An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Head of Services – Scotland & Northern Ireland with Combat Stress, the leading veterans mental health charity in the UK.
Reporting to the Head of Services for Scotland & Northern Ireland, the postholder will be based in our Glasgow hub / hybrid, with a lead role in the operational management of our Glasgow and Belfast hubs, community, and digital services across the countries.
This role spans both strategic and operational practice, ensuring services are of the highest quality and collaborate with partners to meet the needs of veterans.
Key responsibilities include operational delivery, service improvement, performance management and quality assurance. The postholder will work closely with veterans and colleagues to achieve these objectives.
Applicants should have current healthcare professional registration, extensive mental health knowledge and national health/social care context. Significant experience in staff management, engagement, performance management and budgetary control is required.
This role is subject to a DBS/PVG check.
