About Our Client

Kent based charity, with a growing trading entity

Job Description
  • Act as a strategic finance partner to the CEO and SLT, advising on financial strategy, performance, and investment.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling aligned with organisational goals.
  • Provide insightful financial analysis to support commercial decisions and service development.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify risks/opportunities, and support corrective actions.
  • Develop pricing models and cost recovery strategies for commercial contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, charity regulations, and contractual obligations.
  • Prepare and present management information packs and financial reports to senior stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant

Essential:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or finalist with 5+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Proven track record in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
  • Experience influencing senior stakeholders and working cross-functionally with non-finance teams.
  • Skilled in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, modelling) and accounting software.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • The ability to start this role immediately

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of charity/social enterprise financial frameworks (SORP, Gift Aid, Restricted Funds).
  • Experience with SaaS business models, unit economics, and customer profitability.
  • Familiarity with public sector commissioning (e.g. NHS, local authorities).
  • Proficiency in Power BI, Tableau or other BI tools.
  • Understanding of social impact reporting and ESG metrics.
