Overview

Overall Purpose of the Job: To provide professional administrative support to the Head/s of Department, Senior Management, academic staff and PGR students. The post holder will report directly to the Senior Department Administrator and will be part of a busy team ensuring the efficient running of departmental and School processes. The role requires collaboration and liaison with the Head/s of Department, School Operations Managers, and the wider administrative support team in addition to liaising and corresponding with a wide range of external colleagues and to work at any location within the University Estates as required. To support a culture of excellent service provision and continuous improvement, providing support as part of a single team working flexibly across organisational boundaries.

Responsibilities
  • Provide professional administrative support to the Head/s of Department, Senior Management, academic staff and PGR students.
  • Report to the Senior Department Administrator and be part of a busy team ensuring efficient running of departmental and School processes.
  • Collaborate and liaise with the Head/s of Department, School Operations Managers, and the wider administrative support team; liaise and correspond with a wide range of external colleagues and to work at any location within the University Estates as required.
