Job description

Job Requirements / Description

We are looking for an associate to join our team 3-4 days a week. Our practice is located on the east side of Edinburgh, just a couple of miles from the city centre in the lovely area of Duddingston. Our patients love us, and they may chat about you at the local post office or gym!

We are an independent private practice with a Dental Care Plan, principal-led with plenty of clinical support and mentorship. We have a strong team, many of whom have worked with us for over 10 years. Our full-time hygienist team is fantastic and works hard with all our patients to promote prevention; they also handle all your periodontal needs!

We encourage all our adult patients to join our Dental Care Plan and work with us to improve their oral health. We see all under-18s on the NHS. There is an existing list of plan and private patients to transfer, along with a steady stream of new patients.

We would like someone who is enthusiastic, genuinely enjoys dentistry, wants to get to know their patients, and find out what they really want to help them achieve it. A proper team player is essential, such as making a cup of tea for your nurse during breaks!

The position is suitable for someone who enjoys providing family dental care and wants to settle into a well-regarded community practice. You should want to build on your clinical skills and knowledge, be eager to learn, and push yourself forward in your dental career. We encourage case discussions amongst clinicians to provide the best care for our patients.

Our practice is an Invisalign provider, equipped with Aquacare units, an iTero scanner, and all the usual amenities you'd expect!

Other perks include:

  • CPD days such as the Practice Plan workshop tour
  • Summer and Christmas team outings
  • Shower and changing facilities for cycling, running, or lunchtime exercise
  • Free parking
  • Air conditioning in all surgeries

Why join our team? We believe we are a great bunch to work with. We genuinely love what we do, have lovely patients, and enjoy calm, stress-free days at work! Check out our socials for more about our practice!
