Delivery Driver/Installer – Central Widnes

£12.56 per hour | Pay increase after 12 weeks service onsite | Monday to Friday | 9:00am – 5:15pm

Are you a reliable and customer-focused driver with a knack for delivery and installation? Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Delivery Driver / Installer for a well-established client based in Central Widnes. This is a temporary-to-permanent role offering competitive pay, excellent benefits, and the opportunity for immediate start.

Details

Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:15pm (some flexibility required due to delivery schedules).

30-minute lunch break (flexible timing).

Key Responsibilities
  • Picking, preparing, and loading stock for deliveries.
  • Delivery and professional installation of products in client homes.
  • Assembling products accurately according to company specifications.
  • Organising stock and maintaining a clean, tidy warehouse environment.
  • Checking in and recording stock arrivals.
  • Providing excellent customer service at all times.
Candidate Requirements
  • Full clean driving licence essential.
  • No criminal record.
  • Previous experience in delivery and warehouse roles preferred.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Flexibility regarding working hours and occasional overnight stays (1-2 times per month).
  • Basic IT and admin skills for stock management using computerised systems.
  • Mechanical aptitude is advantageous.
  • Forklift truck (FLT) experience beneficial but not essential.
Additional Role Information
  • Starting pay rate: £12.56 per hour, with a pay increase after 12 weeks of service.
  • Food allowance provided for extended road time (£5 for over 5 hours, £10 for over 10 hours).
  • 24 days holiday per year plus 8 public holidays, accrued.
  • DBS check required for the role.
