Van Drivers - Exeter

Role

Are you an experienced Van Driver looking for a role in Exeter? We're currently recruiting reliable and physically fit drivers to join a leading furniture delivery team.

Key Details

• Location: Exeter
• Rate: £12.71 per hour
• Shifts: Monday to Friday
• Early starts: From 06:00-06:30
• Late starts: Between 12:00 - 13:30

Role Overview

You will be delivering furniture to residential customers, working alongside a drivers mate. Some deliveries will be simple drop offs, while others may require you to carry items into rooms and assemble them in customer\'s homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver furniture to customers across the region
• Load and unload vehicles - some heavy lifting involved (up to 150kg with assistance)
• Work closely with your drivers mate to ensure efficient delivery and excellent customer service
• Follow all road safety and driving regulations
• Communicate clearly with customers and your team

Requirements

• A valid UK driving licence (maximum of 6 points)
• Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes)
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Experience in multi-drop or furniture delivery
• Previous experience installing furniture is highly desirable
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
