Self-employed Core Delivery Driver

As one of our Self-Employed Core Delivery Drivers you'll enjoy freedom, flexibility and better financial rewards, plus all the support and benefits of being part of our wider Yodel team. You don't need any experience, and the more you deliver, the more you earn.

Competitive rates for each parcel you deliver or collect - Typically, our Delivery Drivers can earn anything between GBP18 - GBP20p/h (paid per parcel). We are delivering promises as well as parcels and we offer rates that reflect business mileage and operational costs. Daily & Weekly Payment Options - Yodel offers flexible payment options to Self Employed delivery drivers, with the option to access earnings from the very next day via an app provided by our early access partner, Onsi, or alternatively, the weekly payment cycle after 4 weeks of completed delivery services. Both options allow you to receive more regular payments for the services you provide.

We have plenty of parcels to deliver - There are plenty of parcels to deliver; earnings depend on volume. Parcels weigh up to 15kg and vary in size. You can realistically deliver and collect between 16-25 parcels an hour depending on area and experience, for 6 days a week. The more you deliver, the more you earn, with the option to take more parcels and boost revenue.

We\'ll give you freedom and flexibility - Plan your own route or use our handy award-winning app with simple instructions and built-in optimisation to plan routes and liaise directly with customers.

We\'ll offer regular work in the same area, 6 days a week - We deliver parcels for some of the biggest retailers, so there’s no shortage of parcels to deliver. You’ll stay local and get to know the roads and customers.

We\'ll develop and support you - You\'ll have the independence of being self-employed, plus support from our expert team and access to a Yodel representative to answer questions.

The Life of a Core Delivery Driver

Each day is what you make it. You can plan your own route, keeping things fresh and interesting. At each delivery, use your mobile to scan parcels and ensure they are safely received by the customer. We arrange parcel collection times daily, or for rural areas we can drop parcels to you.
