Qualifications

Monday–Friday, 7:00am–3:30pm (40 hours)

The Role

My client is looking for a Decontamination Technician to join their team near Reading. This is a hands-on role involving specialist cleaning, site decontaminations, and emergency response across the UK. Every day is different – you could be working in confined spaces, using high-pressure water jetting, or tackling hazardous materials.

What You’ll Do
  • Carry out deep cleaning, tank cleaning, decontamination, and site clearance.
  • Support emergency response operations.
  • Work in varied environments including confined spaces and at height.
  • Operate equipment safely and follow health & safety procedures.
  • Keep sites and equipment to a high standard.
  • Complete paperwork and reports accurately.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in industrial cleaning, hazardous waste, or similar (preferred).
  • Strong health & safety awareness.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to gain further qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CSCS, IOSH or NEBOSH.
