A healthcare provider in Long Lee is seeking a full-time position in Decontamination Services. The role involves undertaking decontamination duties, supervising apprentices, and working within quality management systems. Applicants must have a NVQ Level 2 or equivalent, basic microbiology knowledge, and experience in a healthcare environment. The position offers working hours from Monday to Friday, with a Saturday rota. Competitive remuneration and a reputable work environment are included.
We are currently recruiting for a full time position within our Decontamination Services Team.
Working hours are as follows: Monday to Friday - 8am-4pm
Please note, this positions will be part of the Saturday rota working 1 in 4, hours are 8am to 1pm and Bank Holiday rota working 8am to 12pm.

To undertake decontamination services duties and assist in providing a specialised decontamination of medical devices service contributing to the clinical care of the patient
Record all tasks on the Health Edge computerised traceability systems
Work in accordance with the department's work instructions and Quality Management systems.
To provide supervision to Apprentice Decontamination Technicians within the team.
Plan own workload with limited supervision
The role involves exposure to blood and bodily fluids.
