A leading financial technology company in London is seeking a Data Science Manager to drive growth initiatives within the marketing team. You will lead a dedicated data team, providing insights that shape our marketing strategy. The ideal candidate has significant experience in data science management, stakeholder engagement, and using various data tools such as Python and SQL. As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more coming. Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us. With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and award-winning customer service, we have a history of creating special moments for our customers. As we scale, we’re looking for a Data Science Manager to lead one of our key Growth areas—Marketing. You’ll collaborate with the award-winning Marketing team and lead a dedicated data team to help execute Monzo’s marketing strategy. You’ll be responsible for building and improving our current capabilities and shaping the future roadmap. We’re seeking a hands-on, data-driven strategic leader who can bring fresh thinking and inspire both the team and our customers.
You’ll play a key role by…
You’ll work closely with leaders across Brand, Paid, and Content, championing the use of data to drive ideas, measurement, optimisation, and learning through a rigorous analytical approach.
You’ll grow and support your team by hiring new members and developing their skills. You’ll manage a mix of Data Scientists and Data Analysts, and work alongside Analytics Engineers to deliver impactful data products. You’ll see the direct results of your work in the performance of our marketing.
We have a strong culture of data-driven decision making across the company. We believe in powerful, real-time analytics and empowering the wider business. Today, 90% of day-to-day data decisions are made through self-serve analytics in Looker, giving data teams the space to focus on bigger, more impactful business questions and analyses.
