A regional health service provider is seeking a Data Quality Analyst to ensure data accuracy and improve reporting efficiency. The Informatics Department supports a wide range of internal and external stakeholders by providing expertise in data analytics and business intelligence. The post holder will be a key member of the Informatics Department delivering effective data quality for the North East Ambulance Service (NEAS). You will be expected at times to work from HQ based in Newcastle upon Tyne.
Working closely with Information Analysts and operational service areas, the Data Quality Analyst will ensure data feeding into dashboards and reports is accurate, consistent, and reliable. They will carry out data validation, profiling, monitoring, and analysis of core NEAS systems, producing deep-dive insights that directly support operational and strategic decision-making.
The role is central to helping the Trust take a data-driven approach to decision-making, improving the accuracy of reporting and performance monitoring, and ensuring that information can be used to drive improvements in patient care and service delivery. This work directly supports the ambitions of the NHS Long Term Plan by strengthening the quality of the data that underpins innovation, efficiency, and better outcomes.
