Data Processing clerk - (Port Ops team)

Full time, 6-month FTC

We are looking for a competent administrator to help assist with the ingating of export export containers, recording statistical data and reconciling differences between systems.

The role requires using a range of internal and external systems to investigate and report, whilst also liaising with internal and external contacts as required.

How you will help us and what you can expect

In this role, you will be carrying out the following tasks :
  • Processing data in Port Systems to assist the ingate of export units
  • Keying data into in house booking system
  • Logging department performance data
  • Reconcile loadlist data
  • Additional duties as required
  • Improve customer satisfaction through the delivery of excellent customer service
  • Contribute to a positive work climate through a flexible attitude to work and support for colleagues and other team members
  • Improve the speed, efficiency & accuracy of internal operating processes
  • Administer clerical tasks and procedures accurately and efficiently
Skills and experience you’ll bring to us
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Knowledge and experience of the Ports inventory systems an advantage.
  • Good PC skills, previous experience of MS Office software essential
