Salary: Competitive

Location: Barnet, North London (N20 8AZ)

Term Time Only, 39 weeks plus 2 weeks - To commence as soon as possible.

The Totteridge Academy is seeking to appoint a dedicated, motivated and determined individual for the position of Data Manager as part of a job share.

About the Role

As Data Manager, you will:

• Lead and continuously improve data systems and compliance.
• Ensure GDPR adherence and robust data governance across all sites.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools that support strategic decision‑making.
• Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer, IT, and school teams to embed a culture of data ethics and excellence.

You will be directly responsible to our Assistant Principal for Data and Assessment.

We're looking for someone with:

• Exceptional analytical ability, technical expertise, and the ability to influence best practice across diverse professional teams.
• A degree in Data Science, IT, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing data systems.
• Expert knowledge of UK GDPR and data protection legislation.
• Strong technical skills in data analysis, system integration, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of SIMS, 4Matrix and other school packages.
