Junior Data Analyst & Compliance Associate

Department: Compliance

Reports to: Head of Compliance

Works closely with: Senior Leadership Team, Finance, Compliance and Customer Service Teams

Location: Hybrid (Redhill Office – approximately 3 days per week, remote for the remainder)

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 per annum

We are seeking a Junior Data Analyst & Compliance Associate to join our growing team. This hybrid role combines data analytics and compliance responsibilities. The successful candidate will analyse business and customer data to generate actionable insights while ensuring that processes, payments, and documentation comply with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Data Analytics
  • Collect, clean, and analyse raw data to identify patterns, trends, and growth opportunities.
  • Interpret data across finance, services, client behaviour, and market positioning.
  • Build clear dashboards and reports to communicate insights to senior leadership.
  • Maintain data accuracy and perform quality checks across multiple systems, including CRM.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and inform business strategy.
Compliance
  • Review customer accounts and transactions in line with compliance procedures.
  • Investigate and respond to chargebacks and suspicious activity.
  • Assist with updating and maintaining website terms and policies to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen operational processes and implement new procedures.
  • Support regulatory reporting and maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities.
Essential Skills & Requirements
  • Proven experience analysing complex datasets to generate business insights.
  • Proficiency in Excel (including pivot tables and advanced formulas).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence in presenting findings to stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented, with a collaborative working style.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, WordPress Analytics, or other e-commerce analytics tools.
  • Previous experience in the e-commerce industry is desirable but not essential.
