About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled Data Analyst to join our growing team at Montu UK. This role will play a key part in leveraging data to solve complex problems and inform strategic decisions as the business scales.

You will work closely with stakeholders at all levels, including leadership, to conduct ad-hoc deep dives and provide critical insights. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in a supportive, fast-moving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform impactful analysis: Conduct deep, ad-hoc analysis and investigations to answer critical business questions and uncover new opportunities.

  • Translate ambiguity into action: Partner with business stakeholders to transform vague problems into clear, well-defined data analysis projects.

  • Define and monitor performance: Scope, define, and implement key performance metrics and dashboards that empower the business to accurately monitor its performance.

  • Drive data-informed decisions: Proactively identify opportunities for new reports, insights, and data models based on your analytical findings to drive strategic decision-making.

What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience: At least 5+ years of experience in a data analysis or similar role, with a strong ability to thrive in ambiguous environments and apply critical thinking.

  • Technical skills: Strong proficiency in SQL and Google Sheets (or Excel), with experience in data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or similar.

  • Communication & collaboration: Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with a track record of effectively presenting complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, including leadership.

  • Curiosity & problem-solving: A deep curiosity and a relentless drive to ask "why" to get to the root of a problem using data.

  • Growth mindset: A desire to continuously learn and expand your skills across the full data lifecycle.

  • Bonus points: Experience with R/Python for developing advanced analytical projects like customer segmentation, forecasting models, and statistical analysis.
