A leading UK educational institution is seeking two Data Administrators for their Data Management team. The role involves coordinating the handling of data for research projects, requiring experience in data entry and database systems. Candidates may apply for full-time or part-time positions. The Nottingham Clinical Trials Unit (NCTU) is recruiting two Data Administrators to be part of the Data Management team. You will report to a Data Manager and your role will be responsible for coordinating the handling of data across a number of research projects, working with clinical databases and working with teams within the unit to deliver good quality data.
You will have experience of data entry and using database systems and preferably knowledge of clinical trial data handling processes.
NCTU is a rapidly growing UK Clinical Research Collaboration registered Clinical Trials Unit based in the School of Medicine at the University of Nottingham. Our mission is to conduct top quality, high impact multicentre clinical trials across a range of health areas which will improve health outcomes. We have a broad and expanding portfolio of trials. In addition, we conduct methodological work to improve the efficiency and quality of trial design, conduct, analysis and reporting. NCTU has close links with NHS Trusts, universities and industry partners.

Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week). However, applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours. These posts are offered on a fixed‑term contract for 12 months. Job share arrangements may also be considered. Requests for secondment from internal candidates may be considered on the basis that prior agreement has been sought from both your current line manager and the manager of your substantive post, if you are already undertaking a secondment role.
