About the Team

The UK Based Global Content Team are responsible for data acquisition and supplier management everywhere outside of the Americas, we partner with vendors from Dublin to Auckland. Whilst this role is predominantly there to be a business partner to our UK Insurance business, the right applicant will join a mature Content team, who successfully support wide ranging elements of the LexisNexis Risk Solutions business. The team is spread out, with a Hybrid working style, but we have regular catchups, both via Teams and in person, of which there is an exception to attend. The Insurance business you will be partnered with is in high growth and you will be working with a team of experienced subject matter experts, passionate about delivering best in market data products to our clients.


About the Role

This role supports the UK&I Insurance organisation, managing key relationships internally and externally. This position exists to develop and execute LNRS UK&I Insurance’s data acquisition strategy by identifying, prioritizing and acquiring external sources of data and providing ongoing management of data quality, utilization, and vendor relationships. They will work closely with the Business Unit Product, Strategy and Sales teams, ensuring a clear and compliant path to revenue is maintained. Additionally, the role will see cross organisation projects, working with other parts of LexisNexis Risk Solutions as required.


Responsibilities


  • Vendor / Third Party Data Partner Relationship Management - New & Existing

  • Royalty / Commission Declarations

  • New Vendor / Third Party Data Partner Onboarding - Due Diligence, Intake Form Submissions, InfoSec Questionnaires, NDAs, TDAs etc.

  • Project & Change Management Alongside Multiple Stakeholders

  • Ongoing Management of Data Quality

  • Invoice Management, Contract Analysis, Contract Management and Contract Binding

  • Data Strategy – Internal & External

  • Key Dataset Acquisition for Business Projects

  • Management of Complex Issues with Vendors & Partners Relating to - Finance, Data Delivery, Contractual Concerns.


Requirements


  • Experience of managing Complex Issues with Vendors & Partners Relating to - Finance, Data Delivery, Contractual Concerns, building successful working relationships and partnerships with business leaders, demonstrating expertise, commitment, and follow-through

  • Negotiation, Business Development or Sales experience

  • Proven success managing external supplier relationships, interacting, influencing, and working with multiple stakeholders and functions (internal and external)

  • Performs well in high pressure environment, balancing competing priorities with strong commitment to delivering results

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, highly organised with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to take initiative and act in a proactive manner without the need for significant direction or management

  • Can work under pressure, manage multiple issues concurrently, resolving conflict and challenges

  • Experience of online workflows, CRM – Salesforce, QuickBase, MS CRM and knowledge of the insurance market would be advantageous
