A local school in Truro is looking for a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Dance teacher to join their Creative Arts Department. This part-time role requires teaching two afternoons a week, with potential for additional hours for extracurricular activities. Successful candidates must have experience in dance teaching and be committed to high educational standards. A passion for fostering student achievement is essential.
The opportunity has arisen for the appointment of a well qualified and enthusiastic Dance teacher to join our Creative Arts Department. The successful candidate will be able to provide an insight into the styles of the 6 anthology works which are contemporary, ballet, hip-hop and inclusive dance. Experience of teaching GCSE Dance, including theory would be an advantage.

This position is available for an immediate start. It is a part time role with the hours of work being two afternoons a week 3-5pm. The days of work can be determined by mutual agreement. There may be opportunities for additional hours for extra-curricular clubs which could be run at lunchtime or after school.

We are a popular school, over-subscribed in several year groups, we have 1568 on roll and this is growing! Mr Steve Mulcahy, has been our Headteacher since 2008.
The building and grounds are part of a MITIE contract.
