A healthcare provider in Lancashire is seeking a CYPMH Assistant Practitioner to join a dedicated team in community mental health. The role involves supporting assessments, building relationships with young clients, and collaborating with various agencies. The ideal candidate should have an NVQ Level 4 or HND in a related field and experience dealing with emotional difficulties in children and young people. This position aims to improve outcomes in mental health for young people in a supportive environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to work within an innovative, dynamic and growing multi-disciplinary Community CYPMH in LSCFT- Fylde and Wyre. The children & young people who access our services present with a wide range of emotional and mental health difficulties ranging from moderate to severe.
You would be joining an established, supportive and hardworking team who are passionate about improving the outcomes for the children, young people and their families/carers.
As a Community CAMHS Mental Health assistant Practitioner you will be an integral member of the multidisciplinary team offering consultation, assessment and evidence-based interventions to children and young people we serve.

Main duties of the Community CAMHS Mental Health Practitioner include:

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.
The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
