Job summary

A leading project management firm based in Manchester is seeking a Cyber Security Project Manager to lead IT Health Check and Penetration Testing engagements. This part-time role requires strong stakeholder management and the ability to coordinate multiple technical delivery programs while ensuring security compliance. Candidates must hold current SC clearance and possess relevant experience in cyber security project management. The position offers flexibility with remote work and occasional travel requirements.

Qualifications

• Must hold current SC clearance.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as Public Sector, Nuclear or Critical National Infrastructure is desirable.
• Knowledge of security clearance processes and secure operational working would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end delivery aligned with internal project schedules.
• Manage readiness tasks including security clearances and logistics.
• Facilitate scoping calls with the testing team.
• Provide documentation and guidance for assessment preparation.
• Drive engagement through updates and stakeholder follow-up.
• Escalate delays, risks, or blockers to senior stakeholders.
• Support validation of remediation actions.
• Maintain oversight of concurrent assessments.
• Produce and monitor the annual testing schedule.
• Ensure timely delivery of reports from the testing team.
• Attend weekly reviews for progress discussion.
• Document lessons learned and produce quarterly outputs.
• Conduct engagement debriefing and handover.

Cyber Security Project Manager (SC) - Client Delivery Programmes - Must have Cyber Experience and be SC Cleared - Part Time - 3 days (Based of 42K base - Pro Rate) - Remote with occasional travel

The Cyber Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and delivering a large volume of IT Health Check and Penetration Testing engagements over a 12-month period. The role ensures that all assurance activities are planned, scheduled, tracked, and completed in accordance with security requirements, working closely with Client project teams, Resillion testing personnel and senior stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end delivery aligned with internal project schedules.
• Manage readiness tasks including security clearances, access, accounts, tooling and logistics.
• Facilitate scoping calls with the testing team and ensure clarity of objectives, constraints, resources and timelines.
• Provide supporting documentation, templates and guidance for assessment preparation.
• Drive structured engagement through calls, updates and proactive stakeholder follow-up.
• Escalate delays, risks or blockers to senior stakeholders where required.
• Support validation of remediation actions and vulnerability closure.
• Maintain oversight of concurrent assessments with consistent documentation controls.
• Produce, maintain and monitor the annual testing schedule.
• Ensure the testing team deliver draft and final reports within required timescales.
• Attend weekly reviews to discuss risks, issues, progress and upcoming activities.
• Document lessons learned and produce quarterly improvement outputs.
• Conduct-engagement debriefing and handover.
