A leading cybersecurity firm is seeking a Cybersecurity Consultant / CHECK Team Lead Pentester to simulate attacks and uncover security vulnerabilities. With current SC Security Clearance and 5+ years in cybersecurity, the role requires excellent communication and technical skills. To be considered for the Cyber Security Consultant position you must possess the following qualifications :
Current SC Security Clearance :
You must hold current SC (Security Check) clearance due to the nature of the work involving sensitive information.
CTL / CSTL and CRT (preferred) or QTSM :
Industry Experience :
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the cybersecurity industry demonstrating a strong foundation in information security practices.
Knowledge of Industry Standard Tools :
Familiarity with a range of industry‑standard tools both commercial and open source for conducting penetration testing and security assessments.
Linux and Virtualization Skills :
Proficiency in the preferred flavor of Linux and a strong understanding of virtualization platforms.
Technical Diagnostic Skills :
Demonstrated technical diagnostic skills showcasing the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities effectively.
Attention to Detail and Quality :
A keen attention to detail ensuring thorough and high‑quality work in penetration testing and reporting.
Communication Skills :
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal for effectively conveying findings writing reports and presenting to clients.
Time Management :
Strong time management skills capable of handling multiple tasks and responsibilities in a high‑pressure environment.
Thought Leadership and Collaboration :
Willingness to contribute to thought leadership through social media platforms and industry events.
Continuous Learning and Development :
Commitment to continuous learning staying updated on the latest vulnerabilities and advancements in the cybersecurity field.
Pre‑sales Support :
Capability to support pre‑sales functions including scoping and addressing technical inquiries from potential clients.
Database Management :
Maintain an internal database of findings contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes related to testing and reporting.
Representational Skills :
Represent Resillion at events giving talks and presentations to showcase the company’s expertise in penetration testing services.
