Overview

Customer Team Leader

Location: 2G Myrtle Street, Liverpool, L7 7DP

Pay: £13.99 per hour

Contract: 30 hours per week + regular overtime, permanent, part time

Working pattern: 5 varied shifts per week including early mornings (store opening), afternoons, late evenings (store closing) and weekends, to be discussed at interview

We’re looking for Customer Team Leaders to join our team at Co-op. As a Customer Team Leader, you’ll be part of a friendly team that’s dedicated to helping our customers. You’ll help lead the store team – coaching and supervising Customer Team Members and deputising for the Store Manager, while delivering great customer service and performing tasks around the store such as restocking shelves and cleaning up spillages.

What you’ll do
  • Friendly and thoughtful service – provide welcoming, easy, helpful and thoughtful service every day, often taking ownership for managing the store and handling challenging situations
  • Develop your team’s capabilities through coaching and training, fostering an inclusive culture where everyone’s voice is valued and respected
  • Make sure the store remains safe, legal, and fully operational
  • Manage diligence checks and stock accuracy to make shopping a great experience for customers
  • Support your store manager by deputising when they’re not working and delivering a variety of HR processes
  • Lead the way when introducing new products and services in your store – work closely with your team to implement change and encourage open and honest feedback
  • Build relationships and get involved in your local community, supporting your Store Manager with the delivery of the local Co-op community plan
