What's the role?
We're looking for confident and customer centric individuals to join our close-knit Customer service team here at Hilti. If you’re an experienced customer services professional looking for your next challenge, to grow within customer services and become an expert in the team we look forward to receiving your application!

In our Customer Service team, we deliver exceptional service to our customers, resolving inbound customer queries, offering solutions and building great customer relationships.

The role involves working a varied shift pattern between the hours of 8am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday. Our Regional Head Office is based at Circle Square in Central Manchester, where we are located a short walk from Oxford Rd train station and St Peter's Square tram stop.
What does the role involve?
  • Processing all calls and emails from internal and external customers, in an efficient and professional manner.
  • You will build orders and range sell, using a solution-based approach to solve customer problems and meet their needs.
  • Providing and supporting customers on technical products/equipment.
  • Supporting field-based personnel by identifying sales opportunities and generating sales leads for the sales team.
  • You’ll need to be detail-oriented, ensuring data is always accurate and up to date on the internal system.
  • For every new joiner, there will be a thorough 8-week onboarding plan and continued development and coaching for 12 months!
  • The onboarding plan consists of; 4 weeks classroom training & 4 weeks induction/intensive support Hands on training.

What you need is:
  • Excellent customer service skills, gained within a call-centre environment
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Excellent telephone manner and ability to communicate at all levels
  • MS Office and Internet proficiency with the ability to adapt easily to new IT systems
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new information and challenges.
  • Strong track record of applying new skills and knowledge efficiently
