Customer Service Assistant

Position: Customer Service Assistant

Salary: Up to £27,500 per annum (DOE).

Hours: 40 hours/week (Mon-Fri) 08:30-17:00 / 07:00-15:30 Rota *NO WEEKENDS!*.

Location: Williams, Unit 3 Javelin Enterprise Park, Ashford, TN24 8DE.

Here at Williams, an independent trade-only plumbing and heating merchant, we’re looking for a Trade Counter Assistant to join our busy and friendly team in Ashford.

This is a varied and active role which includes serving customers at the trade counter and over the phone, assisting with warehouse duties and occasionally making deliveries.

If you also have previous exposure working within a builders merchants, trade counter or the plumbing and heating trade, we would LOVE to hear from you.

As Our Customer Service Assistant, You’ll Be
  • Maintaining the warehouse, including stock rotation and general housekeeping.
  • Serving on the trade counter and handling incoming enquiries.
  • Accurately picking orders in preparation for delivery.
  • Receiving, checking and storing incoming goods.
  • Assisting with the general upkeep of the branch.
  • Carrying out deliveries in the local area.
  • Processing quotes.
