Fork lift hire and sales is a south Yorkshire based in Barnsley specialising in the supply, repair and maintenance of all materials handling equipment nationwide.

Job Overview

We are looking for a Customer Service Apprentice to join our office team.

Responsibilities
  • Scan and file documents accurately to maintain organised service records
  • Support with job sheet preparation and write‑ups
  • Handle incoming phone calls professionally, recording key service details such as:
    • Customer name
    • Site address
    • Opening hours
    • Site restrictions
    • Machine details (make, model, serial number)
  • Manage and respond to emails under guidance and supervision
  • Assist with parts deliveries, sorting items by engineer or site

  • Basic IT skills advantageous
Working Hours

The role is Monday to Friday, 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m., with a 1 hour unpaid lunch.

Training

Training will be delivered on site and off the job, either at Barnsley College or within the workplace. The successful applicant will complete a Level 2 Customer Service Apprenticeship.
