Overview

We are looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join a leading healthcare provider based in Harlow (CM19).

Immediate start

Hourly rate: £12.21

Working hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00

Contract: 3 month temporary with the potential to go permanent after training

Key responsibilities
  • Handle incoming and outgoing calls from patients, carers, and healthcare professionals, providing accurate information and support.
  • Schedule, amend, and confirm deliveries in line with service protocols.
  • Manage patient records and update information accurately on the clinical system.
  • Triage and prioritise queries, escalating urgent or complex issues to the appropriate healthcare team.
  • Provide clear guidance on services, procedures, and next steps to ensure patients feel informed and supported.
  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with all data protection and patient privacy regulations.
  • Follow scripts and protocols to ensure a consistent and high-quality service.
  • Support service improvement initiatives by identifying common issues or bottlenecks.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Ideally you will be an experienced Customer Service Advisor or a call handler from a call centre background.
  • Be an excellent communicator, computer literate and able to pick up systems quickly.
