We are seeking a dedicated and professional Customer Service Representative to join our well-established manufacturing client based in Dewsbury, due to continued growth within their customer service team. This is a full-time, office-based role working Monday to Friday, 9 : 00am to 5 : 00pm.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer support across multiple communication channels, ensuring client needs are met efficiently and professionally. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise strong communication skills, analyse customer requirements, and contribute to high levels of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Handle customer enquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain accurate customer records through effective data entry and CRM management
  • Analyse customer needs and provide appropriate solutions or product recommendations
  • Upsell and cross-sell relevant products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and meet company objectives
  • Demonstrate excellent telephone manner and communication skills during all interactions
  • Resolve customer issues promptly while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve service processes and the overall customer experience
  • Adhere to organisational policies and procedures to ensure compliance with quality and service standards
Experience & Skills Required
  • Proven experience in a customer service role, ideally within a call centre, manufacturing, or retail environment
  • Experience with data entry and upselling techniques
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone appropriately
  • Previous experience in upselling or cross-selling products or services is desirable
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while remaining professional under pressure
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or similar software is advantageous
