Customer Service Administrator - Leeds

Location: Leeds, LS27

Job Type: Permanent

Salary - £26,150

We are looking for a highly versatile, professional, self-motivated and driven individual, who will be working as part of a small customer service team helping to support the smooth running of our Leeds site.

Working within a fast-paced environment, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication, customer service and organisational skills. They must demonstrate flexibility with a hands-on approach and willingness to accept a variety of tasks.

The Role Will Involve
  • Answering all incoming telephone calls and emails.
  • Keying in customer requirements for deliveries.
  • Arranging transportation of any necessary emergency deliveries.
  • Assisting all visitors.
  • Ensuring delivery paperwork is in place where appropriate.
  • Outbound calling to customers.
  • Resolving customer queries.
  • Logging all customer contact.
  • Ensure that there is excellent communication with the external service team.
  • Keeping accurate records for customer requests and responding to queries in a timely manner.
  • Develop comprehensive knowledge on the customer service system and the portal, providing both colleagues and customers with advice and support.
  • Adhere to strictest confidentiality standards with regards all Company financial and salary matters.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customer contacts.
  • Take ownership of Customer issues, resolving and feeding back to the Customer.
  • Ensure that you fully comply with the relevant Health & Safety legislation.
  • Ensure your workspace is clean and tidy at all times and equipment is maintained, in good working order.
  • To attend training courses as required.
  • To foster and maintain good working relations throughout the Company.
  • Other ad hoc duties as required.

The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days per week, which will include Saturday working (No Sunday working).

You must enjoy working as part of a team and will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills gained within a customer service environment. Good numeracy and Excel skills are a must for this role as are IT literacy in Word and Excel and an aptitude for learning new IT systems.
