A family-run grocery store in Windermere is seeking a Specialist Customer Assistant to enhance the shopping experience. You will work either at the counters with various food products or in the café, engaging with customers and maintaining cleanliness. No prior experience is needed as training will be provided. This flexible role offers part-time and full-time hours with a competitive pay range for different age groups.
Customer Assistant roles will require a minimum of 1 weekend shift per week.
Part Time and Full Time positions available, between 15 -36.75 hours per week.

Our customers will be your main focus, and everything you do will be with their shopping experience in mind. As a Specialist Customer Assistant, there are two main areas of the store you could expect to be working.
As part of our Counters team, you will be working with a variety of meat, fish and dairy products. You will have high degree of customer interaction and should therefore have a friendly, polite and approachable manner.
As a member of our Café team you could be supporting in the kitchen making items from the menu or working as part of the Front of House team making beverages, serving customers or keeping on top of cleanliness within the dining area.
You don't need retail experience to join our family. As with our with our bespoke training you will become an expert in delighting our customers with our warm northern welcome and creating a magical shopping experience for our customers.
