We are seeking to recruit an exceptional individual to join our well-established and successful team of Curriculum Leaders. We are looking to recruit a qualified and highly effective teaching colleague to join our amazing school and to lead the Creative Arts team with ambition, enthusiasm and pride.
The core purpose of this post is to lead and manage the curriculum area of Creative Arts; art, design & technology, food technology and PE.
We are looking to appoint a specialist in any of the creative disciplines (Art, Food Technology, Design & Technology).

This post is offered with a TLR allowance in addition to a SEND allowance. Additionally, Curriculum Leaders at Beech Academy are allocated non-contact time that equates to 1 day per week to enable them undertake their duties effectively.
Lead and manage the Creative Arts curriculum area, including art, design & technology, food technology and PE.
Lead and develop a teaching team, promoting high standards of teaching and learning, assessment for learning and curriculum innovation.
Appoint a specialist in any of the creative disciplines (Art, Food Technology, Design & Technology) as required and oversee cross-curricular collaboration within the faculty.
Beech Academy safeguard children by: Creating safe environments for children and young people through robust safeguarding practices; ensuring that adults who work in the school, including volunteers, don't pose a risk to children; making sure staff are trained, know how to respond to concerns and keep-up-to-date with policy and practice; teaching children and young people about staying safe such as keeping safe online; maintaining an environment where children feel confident to approach any member of staff if they have a worry or problem.
