About the Role:

As a CT Inspection Operative, you will play a crucial role in our production processes. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Using computed tomography to perform non‑destructive testing (NDT) on electronic components and products.
  • Placing components securely within the CT system for scanning.
  • Operating industrial X‑ray and CT scanning equipment to generate 3D models of parts.
  • Analysing the resulting 3D images for internal flaws, defects, material inconsistencies, assembly errors, and ensuring conformance to design specifications.
  • Generating reports for quality assurance, failure analysis, or reverse engineering applications.
  • Setting up and running automated inspection routines.
  • Collaborating with team members to meet production targets.
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work space.
  • Following safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment.
  • Strictly applying standardised processes in manufacturing across various tasks, including basic maintenance.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the facility.
  • Ensuring the quality of operations by adhering to established standards.
  • Identifying and communicating any risks related to health, safety, quality, and environmental issues to the Team Leader.
  • Reporting all incidents and near misses, while applying the escalation process for any deviations in safety, quality, or performance.
  • Processing orders accurately and promptly.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned by the line manager.
What We're Looking For:

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Knowledge of NDT principles and prior experience of NDT desirable.
  • Ability to interpret complex technical data and images.
  • Proven experience in a quality control, inspection or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with inspection tools and techniques.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and proven analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent software.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately, meeting deadlines consistently.
  • A practical aptitude for science or engineering skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • High flexibility and dependability.
  • A motivated mindset, eagerness to learn, and a good attendance record.
