The Opportunity

As our CRM Retention Lead, you'll design and deliver strategies that strengthen customer relationships and reduce churn. You'll play a key role in driving loyalty and advocacy, supporting our journey towards An Electric Britain.

You'll join us on a salary starting at least £44,800 per annum, with the potential for an annual bonus. This is a hybrid role, with flexibility to work from home and travel as needed to our #Hove or #Durham offices.

From leading multi‑channel campaigns to embedding agile ways of working, you'll have the chance to innovate and influence. We'll support your development with access to tools, learning opportunities and collaboration across dynamic teams.

Who You Are

We're looking for a CRM Retention Lead who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on delivery and thrives in a fast‑paced environment. To be shortlisted, you need to offer

  • A proven track record in B2C marketing communications, ideally within energy or other regulated sectors
  • Experience developing retention strategies and delivering multi‑channel CRM activity at scale
  • Commercial awareness with a strong focus on measurable outcomes
  • High level of data literacy, able to interpret insight and turn it into clear actions
  • Collaborative and influential, skilled at managing multiple stakeholders and driving alignment
  • Exceptional organisational skills with a proactive, detail‑driven approach to problem‑solving

It would be great if you also had

  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards, with a commitment to transparent, customer‑centric communication
  • Experience working with automated marketing platforms and CRM tools such as Braze
  • A growth mindset and enthusiasm for contributing to a dynamic, change‑oriented culture

What You'll Be Doing
  • Developing and implementing retention marketing strategies that drive engagement, loyalty and advocacy
  • Leading end‑to‑end campaign planning and execution across email, SMS, app and digital channels
  • Partnering with data teams to develop dashboards and insight frameworks that measure channel effectiveness and customer behaviour
  • Championing a test‑and‑learn approach to optimise engagement and conversion
  • Monitoring performance and optimising journeys to increase retention
  • Owning core KPIs including churn reduction, engagement metrics and customer lifetime value
  • Collaborating with cross‑functional teams foremost aligned with business objectives
  • Reporting on campaign performance and retention metrics to senior stakeholders
