Overview

A Credit Risk Decisioning Lead is required for an initial 12 month contract. This role is inside IR35 and will require working via an FCSA accredited umbrella company.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and shape the delivery of complex credit decisioning systems with high level controls.
  • Coach and mentor team members; manage resources in a fast-moving environment.
  • Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally.
  • Collaborate with internal/external technical teams and suppliers to deliver robust automated decision-making platforms.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in building complex credit systems with high level controls.
  • Experience leading a team in a fast-moving environment; effective resource management and development.
  • Strong Excel, Word & PowerPoint skills.
  • Degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Specialist knowledge of credit systems; good knowledge of the banking/financial services sector.
  • Knowledge of third-party software SDS & Triad is desirable.
  • Good problem-solving with a logical approach; good understanding of business analysis and project management principles.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in collaborating with internal/external technical areas and suppliers to deliver robust automated decision making platforms.
