A leading educational institution in Plymouth is seeking individuals to join their Credibility Support team, focusing on assessing international applicant suitability for CAS. Candidates must have strong analytical skills, effective communication abilities, and an advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365. The role allows for some remote work but requires on-site presence. This is an exciting opportunity to join our Credibility Support team responsible for assessing international applicant suitability for a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS). The team develops and maintains very close cross-departmental working relationships with the Student Recruitment and Admissions, Student Immigration, and Plymouth Global teams, to support the University’s international student recruitment objectives and help maintain its status as Student Visa Sponsor with the UK Home Office.
The Credibility Officers report to the Senior Credibility Officer, who manages the team on a day-to-day basis.
For these roles, you will need to be on site 2 days a week. Although we can accommodate working from home for this role, flexibility to be on-site will be expected due to business needs.

Position 1 : This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a permanent basis.
Position 2 : This is a full-time position working 37 hours per week on a fixed-term basis until 23 December 2026 to cover a period of Maternity Leave.

You will be analytical and be capable of prioritising and organising workloads effectively. As an effective communicator, with strong attention to detail, you will provide an excellent customer service experience to applicants, agents, and other key partners. It is essential that you will have an advanced working knowledge of Microsoft 365 packages and the ability to remain calm under pressure. Experience of working with international students in an administrative, support or admissions role would be desirable but not essential.
