Advanced Machinist Apprentice

Location: Cheltenham, UK

Role overview: Our Advanced Machinist Apprenticeship allows you to gain practical experience of producing parts and products, using a variety of methods and equipment. Placements include basic tooling, multi-axis machining, Assembly and EHS.

Objectives and responsibilities will focus on:
  • Observe the agreed conditions of the relevant learning agreement
  • Attend training and perform tasks as directed
  • Undertake training and assessments required under the training plan
  • Work towards achieving the competencies of the training plan
  • Keep an updated training record to demonstrate achievements
  • Behave in a courteous and professional manner
  • Adhere to Company policy inc. Health and Safety procedures
  • Comply with external training providers code of conduct
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Demonstrate Company Core Values at all times
  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) at Grade 4 (C) or above to include Maths, English and Science
