A dedicated educational institution in Tetford seeks an enthusiastic Cover Supervisor to provide supervision for classes during teacher absences. Applicants should possess excellent communication and behaviour management skills, along with GCSEs in Maths and English. Support Staff Pay Scale F: £22,065 to £23,935 pro‑ra per annum (Actual) (£28,598 – £31,022 full time/full year equivalent).
Working Weeks: 39 weeks.
Part time – 32.5 hours per week.
Start Date: January 2026.
Thetford Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and responsible person to work as a Cover Supervisor to provide cover for whole classes whilst covering the absence of teachers to allow them to carry out professional duties and training.
You will be someone with strong communication and behaviour management skills, confidence, patience, and adaptability. You will be able to remain calm under pressure, build positive relationships with students, and effectively supervise a class by delivering set work and managing classroom behaviour.
