Cover Supervisor - Secondary School, South West London. Responsibilities
  • Supervise lessons across a range of subjects during teacher absences.
  • Ensure students stay on task with the pre-set work and maintain classroom discipline.
  • Manage student behaviour effectively in line with school policies.
  • Support students in understanding instructions and staying engaged with their learning.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff on student behaviour and lesson engagement.
Requirements
  • Experience working with secondary-aged students is desirable (e.g., in schools, tutoring, youth work, or coaching).
  • Strong classroom presence and the ability to manage behaviour confidently.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A flexible, calm, and professional approach to working in different school environments.
  • Minimum of A-levels; a degree is desirable.
