As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of learning and behaviour, ensuring lessons run smoothly in the absence of the classroom teacher.

The Role

Cover Supervisor Birmingham

• Deliver pre-prepared lessons across KS3 and KS4 (Years 711).
• Support pupils with their learning and encourage positive classroom behaviour.
• Manage classroom activities and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Work on a flexible basis ad-hoc cover or longer block bookings.
• Opportunities for full-time (5 days per week) or part-time work.

Job Details

• Job Title: Cover Supervisor Secondary Schools
• Location: Birmingham (South Birmingham and surrounding areas)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Temporary, ongoing
• Working Pattern: Monday Friday, flexible days available
• Pay: GBP85 GBP110 per day (dependent on experience)

Requirements

• Experience working in a school setting (secondary preferred).
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (Prospero can provide free training if needed).
• Right to Work in the UK.
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Two professional references.
