Cover Supervisor Day-to-Day Supply – Location: Hemel Hempstead – Salary: £100 £130 per day – Contract Type: Flexible, Day-to-Day Supply – Start Date: September 2025

The Opportunity

Are you looking for flexible work in education? We re currently recruiting reliable and adaptable Cover Supervisors for day-to-day supply work across a range of well-organised and welcoming secondary schools in Hemel Hempstead.

This is an ideal role for those who enjoy variety, want experience in different school environments, and prefer short-term commitments. Whether you re a recent graduate, trainee teacher, or experienced classroom practitioner, this opportunity offers hands-on experience and flexibility.

Your Role Will Involve
  • Supervising pre-planned lessons in the absence of teaching staff
  • Keeping students engaged and focused throughout the day
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Providing brief feedback to teaching staff
  • Adapting quickly to new school environments and subject areas
  • Being dependable, punctual, and professional for each placement
What We re Looking For
  • Previous experience working with young people (schools, youth work, tutoring, etc.)
  • Confident classroom presence and behaviour management skills
  • Adaptability and resilience across different year groups and schools
  • Clear communication and a professional approach
  • An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
