A leading educational institution located in Greater London is seeking a skilled Cover Supervisor to oversee classes during teacher absences. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students' learning and upholding the school's ethos of high-quality education. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated person to the position of Cover Supervisor. The successful candidate will be working in classrooms directly with students and will provide effective supervision of whole classes during the absence of teachers. Cover supervisors with experience are preferred but all applicants will be considered. At the heart of a successful school is the provision of high-quality teaching and learning, the effective use of resources, improving standards of achievement for all pupils and the promotion of pupils' personal development and wellbeing. A cover supervisor plays a key part in this provision by upholding the school's ethos, by liaising effectively with all teachers and providing quality supervision when the regular class teacher is absent to support high standards of learning. You will need to be confident with positive communication skills, have a good standard of education and an interest in how young people learn.
