Overview

A Cover Supervisor is needed for a secondary school in the Consett area of Durham. This full time role is to start ASAP and will be ongoing. This role is to deliver work left by the teaching staff and encourage the positive behaviour of KS3 and KS4 pupils. This lovely school is mixed sex and has supportive and friendly staff and managers.

Responsibilities

• Deliver work left by teaching staff and support positive behaviour of KS3 and KS4 pupils.

Qualifications and experience

• Have a passion to support the teaching of pupils in KS3 and KS4
• Have excellent subject knowledge
• Have good behaviour management strategies
• Be able to organise themselves
• Be able to engage with children in a proactive way
• We are keen to hear from both experienced Cover Supervisors or ECTs wishing to gain more experience working in schools

Requirements

• Have a DBS form or be prepared to obtain one
