Career Teachers is proud to work with a wide range of schools throughout Sheffield and South Yorkshire. We are seeking Cover Supervisors to work across secondary schools with immediate start dates available.
No teaching qualifications are required; just a passion and drive to support and guide pupils through Key Stage 3 and 4 learning modules.
The main responsibility is to manage classrooms and ensure students work effectively on pre-set tasks across various subjects (English, Maths, Science, History, RE, Drama, PE, etc.).
Class sizes may vary (up to 30 students). We require confident individuals who can proactively engage students, lead the classroom towards task completion, and maintain tidiness in line with school policies.
As a cover supervisor, you should be comfortable working within a team environment, supporting colleagues, and working closely with teachers and teaching assistants. You should have a passion for working with students, encouraging their achievement, and managing behaviour effectively. Additionally, maintaining a clean and tidy classroom is expected throughout the day.

Experience in a teaching role is not essential, but experience working with children is preferred.
Daily rates depend on experience, ranging from 90 to 120. This role offers flexibility, with both full-time and part-time positions, allowing you to choose when and how many hours to work.
All rates include 12.07% holiday pay.
