Overview

Kings Academy Trust is seeking a Cover Supervisor to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience across a range of schools within the Trust, including special schools, mainstream primary, and alternative provisions. You will play a key part in supporting high-quality education by delivering lessons, maintaining purposeful learning environments, and ensuring continuity of learning when teachers are absent.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise whole classes during the short-term absence of the class teacher.
  • Deliver lessons and ensure pupils remain engaged in their learning.
  • Promote positive behaviour and attitudes, acting as a role model.
  • Provide feedback on pupil progress to teaching staff.
  • Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the Trust.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • Holds a valid driving licence and can travel independently between schools.
  • Has experience of working with young people in education or a similar setting.
  • Can manage groups effectively and maintain positive relationships.
  • Is highly adaptable, resilient, and committed to safeguarding.
