Overview

Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: £90 - £110 per day (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Full Time / Part Time - Flexible

Responsibilities
  • Deliver pre-prepared lessons to classes in the absence of the teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Support pupils to stay on task and engage with their learning.
  • Follow school policies and procedures to maintain high standards.
  • Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and behaviour.
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with young people (desirable, but not essential).
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Flexible, reliable, and proactive approach.
  • Degree or equivalent qualification (preferred but not essential).
The applicant
  • Classroom experience or training is an advantage but not essential
