Responsibilities
  • Supervise students in the absence of their regular teacher and deliver pre-prepared lesson plans to ensure students remain on task.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Provide support and assistance to students where necessary.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of students.
  • Report back to the regular teacher on the progress of the class.
Qualifications and Experience
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage a classroom environment effectively.
  • High level of organisational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team; flexibility and adaptability to changing needs of the school.
  • While relevant qualifications are an advantage, experience is valued and prioritised.
