A leading healthcare provider in the United Kingdom seeks a Courier Admin/Supervisor to oversee a team of 14 drivers. This position involves providing supervision, managing schedules, and maintaining effective administrative support. The ideal candidate will have a good educational background, experience in a team environment, and strong skills in Microsoft Office applications. To provide effective supervision and efficient administrative support to the Courier Manager and Team. Supporting a team of 14 drivers working across the length and breadth of Cornwall delivering/collecting samples/specimens, blood, pharmacy, patient notes, equipment etc to over 200 sites, ensuring a good relationship with service users.
This role includes regular courier duties, with at least one day per week spent working on a courier driver's route.
General office duties, completion of weekly driver rotas, pay and leave utilising online system, dealing with service users to ensure needs are met, booking vehicles for repair with occasional driving. Planning training for drivers both routes and mandatory, supervising of drivers.

Primary role to provide effective supervision and administrative support to the Courier Service Team, managing and prioritising own work schedule, using initiative, as necessary. Processing and dealing with employee and departmental confidential/sensitive material.
To create, manage and maintain accurate and efficient filing systems including general correspondence invoices and information.
Producing regular finance reports including recharges and set up of charges for new service users.
Routinely manage diary appointments/schedules for the manager and other staff within the courier services team, resolving conflicting issues where necessary.
Routinely provide secretarial duties for the department as required (typing, photocopying arranging meetings, filing and general office duties etc.) using all Microsoft applications.
Produce documents and reports in using Microsoft applications for Manager and all staff as required.
Accuracy of quality of typing and management reporting.
Regularly ensure that designated information systems are organised updated and maintained in an accurate and timely manner, adjusting, and setting up formulae in excel spreadsheet, as necessary.
Calculate and maintain accurate records of annual leave and sickness for the team.
Arrange Bank Staff cover in the event of absent driver/s.
