Our client is seeking an Onboarding Coach to support, coach and develop newly recruited counsellors through a 12-week onboarding programme, helping them progress in their counselling careers within a fast-paced telephone environment.

Role

The role requires high professional standards while adhering to KPIs and SLAs. You will work alongside the EAP Training & Coaching team to coach counsellors to ensure they successfully complete the onboarding programme.

Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the onboarding Programme, alongside EAP Coaches
  • Collaboratively plan, organise and deliver the onboarding Programme
  • Provide daily, weekly, monthly reports to Direct Reports as required
  • Supervise new counsellors during the first 3 weeks of the programme, holding update meetings and delivering coaching
  • Support new Counsellor queries in the first instance
  • Deliver key training modules over the onboarding period to ensure counsellors are trained on core services
  • Deliver workshops facilitating scenarios and roleplays reflective of helpline calls
  • Facilitate and deliver group listening and coaching to ensure business practices are delivered effectively
  • Identify areas of learning among the Counsellors and arrange relevant training
  • Hold a clinical caseload
Qualifications
  • A level 5 counselling qualification and BACP accreditation (or working towards this)
