A leading theatre organisation offers a 24-month fixed-term apprenticeship for individuals aspiring to careers in costume. This role provides valuable experience in dressing, maintenance, and various aspects of costume, emphasizing learning from industry experts within a supportive environment.

If so, you could join us for our new fixed-term apprenticeship opportunity.
This apprenticeship is part of theRegional Theatre Technical Apprenticeship Programme, funded byThe Mackintosh Foundation, which will provide a wide-ranging opportunity to be part of the creative life of a large-scale building-based theatre organisation. This is a unique opportunity for a locally rooted Costume Technician to work in a supportive environment surrounded by a wealth of expertise; to grow, develop skills, learn from highly experienced Costume makers and Designers and build invaluable relationships across a range of production departments.
You must be over the age of 18 and locally rooted to Yorkshire for this opportunity, as well as being in the very early stages of your career in costume, as this programme is directly aimed at people who need a steppingstone into the industry.
This role is Fixed-Term for 24 months and will be full time, 40 hours per week, including one day a week attending college or training.
