A Chartered Accountants firm in Cheltenham is looking for a Part Time Corporate Tax Director. In this role, you will manage a portfolio of corporate clients and oversee compliance while supporting the Tax Partners. Ideal candidates should be qualified Tax specialists (CTA and possibly ACA). This position offers a flexible 30-hour work week.

Overview

Our client are a firm of Chartered Accountants in Cheltenham who are looking for a Part Time (30 hours a week) Corporate Tax Director to join the business.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate clients, overseeing the compliance process.
• Support the Tax Partners closely to deliver tax advisory services.
• Manage the corporate tax team by hearing the voice of your team members, conduct appraisals, provide coaching of assignments to support the development of team skills and knowledge and continually improve the quality and delivery of work.
• As part of your own development, establish strong working relationships with your own portfolio of clients through assignments and regular contact, including attending client meetings.

Qualifications

• Ideally be CTA and possibly ACA (or equivalent) qualified Tax specialist.
