Location: London

Job Type: 12-month contract

Work Setup: Hybrid - 3 days in the office (Tuesday to Thursday)

What You'll Do
  • Execute financial control activities, including accruals and month-end processes
  • Support external audit delivery and prepare regulatory returns, with IFPR knowledge
  • Prepare Finance sections of the ICAAP and assist with project management
  • Contribute to quarterly UK Board reports and produce monthly management reports
  • Participate in control and reporting projects, identifying process improvements
What You Bring
  • Qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA)
  • Relevant experience in financial services, with a background in insurance and banking sectors
  • Comprehensive expertise in corporate finance (month-end close, financial reporting, financial statements, and regulatory returns) with a strong focus on FCA and BAU compliance reporting
  • Proven skills in forecasting & budgeting, stress testing/scenario analysis, variance analysis, and financial planning & analysis (FP&A)
  • Demonstrated ability in audit support/external audit, management reporting, and robust internal controls & compliance frameworks
  • Preference for experience with Oracle financial systems and Icara reporting tools
